Suprima Joshi is an architect and urban designer keen on revitalizing urban riverfronts. She worked on parts of the 'Bagmati River Basin Improvement Project' in Kathmandu. This experience led her to focus her Carnegie Mellon University Graduate thesis on- Critical Caring to sustain and maintain the Bagmati Riverfronts of Kathmandu Valley. She got to practice such systems caretaking as an intern at Riverlife- an NGO based in Pittsburgh.
